Animals Who Favor Life in Isolation

The words above are from a short poem written in tribute to the tiger, one of the most well-known solitary animals of the world. Just like tigers, however, there are several other animals who prefer a life of isolation and enjoy their solitude and tranquility. While they may be loners, these animals don’t lead a sad or depressing existence. In fact, they thrive in their solitude and are incredibly self-reliant.
